We have provided special education services in Southern California for nearly a decade. The Spoken Word Speech and Language Services works as an extension of the special education department to support your students' needs.
We are a CDE Non-Public Agency, knowledgeable of special education guidelines, requirements and necessary timelines. We have streamlined service provision and documentation to provide the highest level of service to schools and students. We are staffed by highly qualified therapists to help your students’ meet their goals and achieve academic progress.

Our Speech and Language Services
Conduct initial assessments, re-evaluations, and triennial evaluations required by federal and state law and regulations in order to determine a student’s level of functioning for the development of an initial IEP or to evaluate the student’s annual or three-year progress in order to provide a Free and Appropriate Public Education (FAPE). All assessments are conducted by licensed SLPs
Provide speech and language services as defined in student’s IEP, including progress monitoring and providing written progress notes as frequently as general education students.
IEP meeting attendance, report and goal development.
Parent, teacher and IEP team consultation as needed for students to demonstrate progress on IEP goals.
Our Occupational Therapy Services
